What does Atelier Orlo do?
Atelier Orlo curates historical poster art as high-quality poster prints. The selection ranges from vintage advertisements, magazine covers, and travel posters to medicine, theatre, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and other graphic motifs from bygone eras.
It's not just about a motif being old. What matters is whether it still resonates today: through colour, typography, composition, or a small story that you'd love to have on your wall.
Are these original posters?
No. Atelier Orlo does not sell original posters, but carefully selected reproductions of historical motifs.
This makes historical poster art accessible without claiming to be a collector's original.
Are the posters framed?
No. All posters are delivered without frames.
This way, you can choose a frame that matches your room, wall colour, and interior style.
What paper is used for printing?
Printing is done on matte 200 g/m² paper. The surface is smooth and non-reflective, allowing colours, typography, and details of the motif to appear calm.
FSC certified or equivalent paper is used.
How long does shipping take?
Your poster will be printed, inspected, and securely packaged after your order.
Delivery usually takes place within 3 to 5 business days.
Which shipping providers do you use?
We ship with DHL, FedEx, or DPD, depending on the delivery address and availability.
Which service provider is used depends on where your poster is being delivered and which shipping method makes the most sense for your order.
How will my poster be packaged?
Your poster will be shipped in protective packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
Depending on the format and shipping method, it will be packaged to best protect the print, paper, and edges.
Can I return my poster?
Yes. You have a 30-day right of withdrawal.
As the buyer, you bear the costs of the return. Please return the poster well protected, preferably in the original packaging or similarly secure packaging.
What payment options are available?
At Atelier Orlo, you can pay securely with PayPal or credit card.
Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Payment processing is encrypted.
Who produces the posters?
Our posters are produced through our printing partner Gelato.
This enables us to offer short delivery routes, fast shipping times, and reliable print quality.
